Hunter

Hunter, aka Talent's Orion v BJF, was born on March 5, 2004 and arrived home on May 2. You'd think I'd have a ton of pictures of him - I do, but they're all blurry! Hunter is always busy busy busy. He has, however, discovered the wonders of the Magic Couch. Our couch has some sort of magical properties that makes anyone who lies on it sleepy. Hunter climbs up there (which takes some effort and is fun to watch) and nestles against the pillows when he's tired. If there's a person already on the couch, no problem. Hunter will park himself on the person's shoulder.

Hunter finished Puppy Kindergarten and Good Manners 1. He's taking Good Manners II and Agility Foundations in September. He goes to school and daycare at Bandilane - check out the daycare, it's Hunter's favorite thing. Dogs get to play together in a big supervised play area. When you come to pick up your dog, you can watch a video of him playing.

Hunter is in this picture somewhere. He was "blue collar black male" - since there aren't any blue collars visible, he's one of the puppies in the pile. Hunter in his travelin' bag at Sea-Tac airport.

Dr. Evil (Scooby) and Mini-Me (Hunter).

I took this at his breeder's house in Seattle - 8 weeks old and he's already a shoe maniac. We didn't need to learn "leave it" in class because boy, do we practice that all day long at home.

Don't leave me alone in this ex-pen!! I wish I had an audio clip of the whining that went with this picture.

Hunter loves his pillows. This is on our couch.

Hunter learned to open all the doors in our house - we have the lever latches instead of knobs - and in the space of one unsupervised minute, he opened the guest bedroom door, knocked down a bag, absconded with a ball of cashmere yarn, and went bonkers. Notice he doesn't have ANY puppy toys within reach, haha.

Believe it or not, this puppy is actually sound asleep. (6/11/04)

I could do an entire photo essay, "Hunter and His Pillows." He's 5 months old here.
